My journey towards becoming a Live Fashion Illustrator began in the bustling corridors of the University of Houston. With a degree in Retail and Consumer Science under my belt, my love for fashion was palpable. Yet, the question loomed: Could a career in art be practical? Driven by my passion, I dabbled in internships, learning the ropes from runway coordinators, designers, and bloggers. These experiences laid a crucial foundation, blending my love for fashion with the vibrant world of art. 

A Pivotal Move

In 2021, a move with my then-boyfriend marked a turning point. Though the relationship didn’t last, the move itself acted as a catalyst for me. I took the leap, launching my own business and created my first art collection that showcased the world of Gavi Leveaux. My instagram became a canvas, showcasing my creation and gradually drawing attention to my unique Fashionista style. It was during this time that I realized the potential of live event illustration—a niched that I would soon master.

Inspired by an artist from New York, I recognized a unique opportunity in Houston’s event scene. My big break came when Saks invited me to showcase my skills as a live event artist.
