If you would have told me years ago that my love for fashion illustration would evolve into a luxury live event illustration business, I probably would have smiled nervously and wondered if that kind of dream was even possible.
But here we are.
I’m Gabrielle Aguirre, founder of Gavi Leveaux — a luxury live illustration brand specializing in live fashion illustration for weddings, corporate events, luxury brand activations, and high-profile celebrations across Texas and beyond.
What started as sketchbooks, watercolor paints, and a deep love for fashion eventually transformed into a business centered around creating unforgettable guest experiences through art.

The Beginning of My Fashion Illustration Journey
My path toward becoming a live fashion illustrator started at the University of Houston, where I earned my degree in Retail and Consumer Science. Fashion was always at the center of my world, but for a long time, I struggled with the same question many creatives face:
“Can art really become a career?”
Even with uncertainty, I kept creating.
I immersed myself in internships within the fashion industry, learning from runway coordinators, designers, bloggers, and creative entrepreneurs. Those experiences helped me understand not only the artistry behind fashion, but also the branding, storytelling, and business side of the industry.
At the time, I didn’t realize I was building the foundation for what would eventually become Gavi Leveaux — a luxury live event illustration company focused on bringing fashion, beauty, and personalization into the event industry.
The Turning Point That Changed Everything
In 2021, my life shifted dramatically after moving away with my then-boyfriend. Although the relationship eventually ended, that season became one of the most transformational periods of my life.
For the first time, I had the opportunity to completely rebuild.
I poured my energy into creating my first official art collection and began developing the visual world of Gavi Leveaux. My Instagram slowly evolved into a curated portfolio showcasing my signature watercolor fashion illustration style — feminine, chic, artistic, and inspired by editorial fashion sketches.
As I shared more of my work online, people began connecting with the style and emotion behind my illustrations. That momentum led me to discover the growing world of live event illustration.
The moment I realized I could combine fashion illustration, luxury events, guest interaction, and artistry in real time, everything clicked.
I had found my niche.

Inspired by artists I discovered in New York, I recognized a unique opportunity within Houston’s luxury event scene. I saw the potential for live illustration to become more than entertainment — it could become an immersive luxury experience.
Soon after, Saks invited me to illustrate live at one of their events, marking my first major opportunity as a live event artist.
That single event created momentum that would completely change my career.
What began as one booking quickly evolved into weddings, luxury parties, fashion events, corporate activations, and brand experiences. Clients weren’t just looking for artwork — they wanted something interactive, stylish, elevated, and memorable for their guests.
