For the Star Party hosted by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Gavi Leveaux assembled a team of ten live illustrators to create personalized fashion illustrations throughout the evening. As guests enjoyed the festivities, each illustration became part of the celebration itself—transforming fleeting moments into keepsakes designed to be remembered long after the event concluded.

Cabarete | Dominican Republic
Miami, FloridaGavi Leveaux provided live fashion illustration for an exclusive event celebrating Cabarete, Dominican Republic, a world-renowned surf destination known for its vibrant culture, coastal beauty, and adventurous spirit. Hosted in Miami, the event welcomed approximately 50 guests, each receiving a personalized fashion illustration inspired by the relaxed yet elevated atmosphere of the evening. Throughout the event, guests gathered around the illustration station to watch their custom portraits come to life, creating an interactive experience that encouraged conversation, connection, and lasting memories. Live illustration became more than entertainment—it served as a meaningful keepsake that reflected the energy of the destination while offering every guest a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork to take home. Whether celebrating a destination marketing campaign, tourism event, brand activation, or corporate gathering, live event illustration transforms guest engagement into a memorable experience. Every destination has a story to tell, and one of my favorite parts of providing live fashion illustration is translating the spirit of a place into artwork guests can take home. Inspired by Cabarete, Dominican Republic—one of the Caribbean's most celebrated surf destinations—this Miami event brought together the energy of the ocean, coastal culture, and vibrant travel experiences through live illustration.
Throughout the evening, I created custom fashion illustrations for more than 50 guests, capturing each person's individual style while reflecting the relaxed, adventurous atmosphere that Cabarete is known for. As guests watched their portraits come to life, the illustration station became a place to gather, connect, and celebrate the destination together.
For me, live event illustration is about more than drawing portraits—it's about creating meaningful experiences that guests remember long after the event has ended. Whether partnering with a tourism board, destination marketing organization, travel brand, or corporate event, live illustration transforms moments into personalized keepsakes that encourage conversation, engagement, and lasting memories.

Wings of Spring Annual Gala
Dallas, ArboretumGavi Leveaux brought live event illustration in Dallas to the Literacy Achieves Wings of Spring Gala at the Dallas Arboretum, creating personalized fashion illustrations and live guest portraits throughout the evening. Set against the gardens of the Dallas Arboretum, the interactive illustration experience became part of the gala entertainment while giving guests personalized keepsakes to take home. The celebration showcased live illustration as a memorable addition to Dallas galas, nonprofit events, corporate events, and special celebrations while supporting the mission of Literacy Achieves.

For the Literacy Achieves Wings of Spring Gala, each guest portrait was created live during the celebration at the Dallas Arboretum. The illustration experience gave guests the opportunity to watch their portraits come to life before taking home a personalized keepsake from the evening.
Designed to complement the setting and spirit of the gala, the artwork brought a personal, interactive element to the event while showcasing the Gavi Leveaux live illustration experience in Dallas.
